EDG's California branding studio welcomes senior design strategist David Hard.

EDG is thrilled to announce the newest addition to our California team. David Hard, a seasoned multidisciplinary architectural designer with more than two decades of experience, has joined EDG’s branding studio as senior design strategist.

David's illustrious career has seen him create extraordinary brand and hospitality experiences across the U.S. He has played pivotal roles at Vanderbyl Design, Starbucks, Lyric, and Kayak Hotels. David holds an architecture degree from California College of the Arts.

"We're very excited about David joining us,” said EDG President Jennifer Johanson. “His extensive background in brand and experiential design is highly relevant to our work, and he's an excellent cultural fit for our team."

At EDG, David is contributing creative expertise in master planning and interior design, shaping the very essence of hospitality properties. He is currently engaged in crafting unforgettable hotel and resort experiences in diverse locations, including the Dominican Republic, the Big Island of Hawaii, Jasper Park in Alberta, Canada, and Reno, NV.

Of this new chapter in his career, David said, "Designing hospitality spaces is such fun, creative work. I couldn't have found a better place to do this."
