Autograph Collection Announces Opening of Westdrift Manhattan Beach

Westdrift Manhattan Beach's opening is explored by Luxury Travel Advisor. "Autograph Collection Hotels announced the opening of the Westdrift Manhattan Beach, located four miles from the Los Angeles International Airport. Taking cues from the beach city, Westdrift offers a mix of styles, combining design, amenities and culinary offerings that aim to appeal to both coasts.

Westdrift has 393 guestrooms and suites, 112 of which have private balconies. Upon entering, guests will find a custom Argentine driftwood check-in desk framed by wooden columns with metal accents inspired by the Manhattan Beach pier. The group behind the design is San Francisco-based EDG Design with Theresa Fatino Design as the design consultant. The hotel has a "beachy palette with an East Coast aesthetic," which includes driftwood, natural textures and splashes of navy blue; plus, artwork by Sausalito photorealist Eric Zener can be found throughout the property and in guestrooms.

Jute Coastal Bar + Kitchen mimics the coastal design of the new hotel—specifically the woven chairs and string flags above the bar. The communal-focused dining experience is led by Executive Chef Octavio Sabado, and offers a bi-coastal inspired menu and a cocktail program with a wide selection of seasonal drinks."
