A New Perch for Pelican

Cantilevered over the shifting tides and driftwood-covered beaches of Siletz Bay, the newest Pelican Brewing Company sets a new standard for craft beer experiences not just in Oregon, but across the country.

Guests are welcomed by two-story sliding barn doors that connect directly to the beauty of the bay. A porch with Adirondack chairs runs the entire length of the brewpub, encouraging patrons to slow down and watch the tide roll in. The site and structure embrace the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast.

The space is casual and honest, inspired by industrial, coastal buildings. Corten steel screens provide enclosure while preserving views. Glue-lam handrails feel sturdy and weathered. Fabrics emulate the sunsets and coastal light. Multiple hearths bring warmth and community even on classically chilly days.

We’re biased, but there’s no better place to sip a fresh-hopped IPA or award-winning cream ale.
