Two of EDG Asia's newest projects: Flat Stanley and The Pontiac Stardust have been named two of the best new dining venues in Bali and Jakarta by Exquisite Taste Magazine.
The Pontiac Stardust
Inspired by a cosmic road trip through Palm Springs in the 1950s, The Pontiac Stardust is a progressive cocktail bar curated by award-winning bartender Becklay Franks. Hailing from the United States, Becklay is known as the First Lady of Mixology, receiving attention from the F&B industry from the beginning. Prior to her move to Bali, Becklay was in Hong Kong establishing sister venue The Pontiac, a craft-dive bar that has been a prominent fixture on the prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Bars list for four years in a row. Looking for something to nibble while sipping the creative cocktails? Well, don’t worry. The fully stocked kitchen is ready to serve burgers, pizza, fries and more.
Flat Stanley
Helmed by chef Matt White, Flat Stanley takes you on a beautiful drive through vintage Californian highways and the Pacific West Coast. Offering flatbread pizzas as the mainstay, the restaurant specializes in hand-pulled sourdough pizzas topped with local Balinese produce for the freshest flavours. Prior to opening Flat Stanley, chef Matt was responsible for the uber-famous Alt. Pizza and Extra Virgin Pizza in Singapore. Using his experience from working under well-known chefs Michael Mina and Wolfgang Puck, guests at his new restaurant are treated to a selection of sharing boards, small plates, salads, sourdough pizzas and a range of meats and seafood from the grill. Don’t forget to try the innovative cocktails on offer as the perfect thirst quencher on a hot sunny day.
