Romantic Restaurants for the Perfect Date Night

As Valentine’s Day edges closer, restaurant reservations are on the rise. At EDG we have the privilege of having intimate knowledge of some amazing restaurants and our team has selected a few of our US-based projects that scream “perfect date night”. From a seaside tropical resort to an urban garden, these restaurants won’t disappoint.

ULU

Located in Hawaii’s Kona-Kohala Coast, ULU Ocean Grill is known for its acclaimed regional, seasonal and artisanal cuisine. Focusing on fresh local flavors and sustainable dining, the team works with more then 160 local farmers and fishermen, allowing menus to feature ingredients that are 75% from the Hawaiian islands.

Ulu showcases a stylish blend of Hawaiian architecture with modern flair, highlighting Hawaii’s natural beauty alongside the surf and under the stars. The restaurant features a sushi lounge, ocean grill and three private dining terraces.

Wolfgang Puck – Five Sixty

Deep in the heart of Texas stands Five Sixty, a circular restaurant 560 feet above street level. The space comes to life with revolving floor plates and an ever-changing 360-degree view. An ultra-contemporary, illuminated glass bar allows guests to experience incomparable food, beverages and service in comfort and style. Subtly individualized dining zones and stylish lounges support intimacy and interaction.

The menu features Puck's modern interpretations of Asian dishes. Guests can enjoy fine dining in the main room, as well as a more casual experience at either of the restaurant’s two bars. Wine aficionados can appreciate an extensive list of more than 400 labels and nearly one dozen brands of sake, plus by-the-glass selections.

Stem Kitchen and Garden

Stem Kitchen and Garden is situated beyond the glass-and-steel main lobby of a six-story building occupied by biotech and pharmaceutical start-ups in Mission Bay. Stem’s design balances sleek architectural elements with natural design features to ground the guest’s experience, while local materials mirror the locally-focused menu. Stem now includes a vegetable garden with expansive views of the San Francisco waterfront. Guests can dine under a covered wood and metal trellis or sit around the raised garden beds filled with organically-grown produce while taking in views of the unique mix of urban and organic that is San Francisco.
