Revealing the Elements at Four Seasons Hotel Doha

Inspired by the four classical elements – earth, air, fire and water – Elements restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Doha offers an innovative mix of Arabic, Asian, Indian and seafood flavors. Open in early 2016, the restaurant features breakfast and lunch buffets, live cooking stations and an elegant à la carte dining experience. EDG was thrilled to design Elements. In a recent release by the Four Seasons, their team put it best ­–

“Four Seasons Hotel Doha rings in 2016 with the debut of the Hotel’s newest dining destination, Elements Restaurant & Lounge. Following on the heels of the Hotel’s unprecedented year of highly successful restaurant openings in 2015, Elements Restaurant & Lounge continues to indulge travelers and epicureans alike with a unique dining concept never before showcased in Doha, matched by exotic cuisine set in an innovative and stylish ambiance. The restaurant is inspired by the four classic elements: earth, fire, water and air, creating distinct combinations in all aspects of the guest's dining experience.

Elements features a vibrant menu, with a modern mix of Arabic, Indian, Asian and seafood flavors for breakfast and lunch in buffet style and dinner with a la carte menu. Creating a whimsical "element" of the unexpected, Elements features a trolley-style menu showcasing chef’s special dishes and presented in a travelling cart throughout the stylish restaurant.  Adding to the ambiance, guests can observe the live cooking stations, an Oriental runway kitchen and barbeque pit. The barbeque pit on the terrace is available for private dining experiences and include the option of a "line to plate" fresh seafood menu.

In addition to exquisite cuisine, Elements Restaurant & Lounge features a modern and chic bar, serving up signature cocktails and exclusive Four Seasons-style sips created by renowned international beverage consultant group Fling. The residential bars (located in the main bar) offer two signature vodka and gin experiences unique to Qatar. The Vodka-me Bar and the Gin-me Bar feature a highly exclusive selection of vodkas and gins found only at Four Seasons Hotel Doha.  Signature sips include The Grape & the Grove, Thai-Tea-To, Burning Bush and Rose Gold Julab.

As the Hotel’s signature restaurant, Elements is open throughout the day, offering breakfast and lunch and dinner. The Hotel’s award-winning buffet has been reintroduced and features live stations including Arabic cuisine, fresh seafood counter and a flavorful juice bar offering freshly squeezed "mood juices" and smoothies throughout breakfast.

The interior design plays homage to its namesake revealing four elements, bringing together four distinct focal points. The bar feature wall is inspired by the water element and reflections, using mirrored and metallic tile finishes; the main dining area is enriched with live-edged wood, and iridescent sheer and glowing acrylic creating a warm ambience inspired by the earth; the show kitchen offers a vibrant view of the culinary action, where fire creates the cuisine; the outdoor area is newly developed as one-part lounge and one-part dining area, and the space is both open and inviting. A large cloud sculpture inspired by the air hangs overhead.”
